07 May 25 Sclipo, a social skills-network based upon user-generated videos, has won the Startup 2.0 contest, whose final was hold yesterday at the Guggenheim Museum of Bilbao. The second place was for a very similar project coming from Israel, 5min, while the third prize will go for Properazzi, crawler-based web 2.0 property search engine for all of Europe.

07 May 10 We have arrived to the top 15 European Web 2.0 projects, which will be presented in Madrid. The 15 projects will have 5 minutes each to present themselves and another 5 minutes to answer two questions from the judges and the public. People coming to the event will also vote on the best projects. Finally, we will get the 5 best projects, which will be presented in Bilbao on May, 24th. If you want to come to the event, you have to register yourself. It starts at 15.30 and will be twittered.

07 May 04 Registration is opened for Startup 2.0 in Madrid, which will take place on May, 10th. A total of 255 projects have been presented: 42% from Spain, 16% from France, 10% from the UK, 7% from the Netherlands, 4% from Germany and 3% from Portugal. There are also many projects from Ireland, Israel, Italy and Poland. Remember that in Startup 2.0 in Madrid 15 projects will be presented and only 5 of them will go to the European final in the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.
